BON Cloud’s China-Europe block train video stories help to connect Central-Southern Europe with China

bon_cloud-telefriuli_broadcast_facilities_europawire_sep_13_2016

BEIJING, 16-Sep-2016 — /EPR MEDIA NEWS/ — The biggest story coming out of China today is the launching of the Silk Road on Rails: China-Europe block trains that carry goods across the globe. The proposal to establish China-Europe railroads surprised even the most experienced of rail industry players, yet thousands of trains now traverse these tracks annually.

Telefriuli SpA, the Italian broadcaster, exclusively aired the video series across Italy’s northeastern regions of Friuli Venezia and Eastern Veneto during the first week of September 2016. Telefriuli SpA was set up in 1974 in the North East of Italy. With more than 40 years of history it is also the region’s longest-running broadcast channel.

Today, as certified by Auditel, Telefriuli is by far the most-watched broadcaster in Friuli Venezia Giulia and in Eastern Veneto, and offers its viewers a rich schedule ranging from information to entertainment.

Of the videos. Telefruili Director, Daniele Paroni, said “I think it is crucial for Europe and for China to have a “physical” link which allows more and more narrow and intense social and economic relations between these two global players. In the videos there was a brilliant comparison between the silk road and the rail which links China and Europe.”

The China-Europe rail route is the longest in the world covering almost 10,000 kilometres in total.

Referring to BON Cloud, the producer and distributor of the China-Europe block train video series, Ms Paroni continued, “Telefriuli wants to retrace Marco Polo’s steps, showing to our audience the brilliant productions [BON Cloud is] sending us which also helps to connect Central-Southern Europe with China. Now that we have established this important relationship – BON Cloud and Telefriuli – we really want to continue this journey together, to enable us to achieve mutual satisfaction and knowledge.”

The first block train left Zhengzhou for Hamburg on July 18th, 2013, connecting people along the Silk Road and shortening the distance between continents. The 12-day, six-country journey posed challenges: would European companies welcome the new trade route? Would the cargo be secure? Would the project even be practical?

The trans-Eurasia rail trip began as a once-a-month event but China soon realized it required partners to make it successful. With partners on board, Hamburg became the forerunner. The German port city now serves as both a departure and destination point for the China-Europe block trains.

This project has lowered the cost of transportation significantly and commerce is thriving. There is no doubt about the initiative’s acceptance. The service currently transports goods several times a week from China, the Republic of Korea and Japan, as well as European countries such as Germany, Italy, Poland, France and Spain. With the growing success of the initiative, the development of additional European destinations is in the pipeline.

Mediaman Howard Needle Celebrates 2-Year Anniversary Of Alternative Solutions Media – A Unique Marketing Company That Brings Recovery Programs And People Suffering From Addiction Together

In June of 2011, media executive Howard Needle launched a company specifically focused on promoting rehabilitation and recovery to the addicted community. He realized that many people suffering from addiction are unwilling to check themselves into a facility, and the idea of self treatment with online support would be appealing to them. His company, Alternative Media Solutions, was founded on the premise that people suffering from addiction will respond to informative TV commercials and radio campaigns, and then visit an online site that offers support.

Tips and guidance on self-healing are provided on this site but also, descriptions of recovery programs and facilities—with video—can be viewed. What this achieves is that many people looking to self treat end up contacting a recovery facility or program and finding a much more effective treatment process.

“I am very proud of my company,” states founder and president, Howard Needle. “I knew there had to be a way to bring those who are addicted together with those who can really help them. Utilizing volume buying power and my relationships with media companies, I am able to provide recovery businesses with a complete media package at a significant discount, allowing them to reach more patients and help more people than they ever could have without the media campaign. I’ve reached my two year anniversary and I am here to stay.”

Needle has working relationships with media experts in every state,  and so is able to service clients from around the country. Top quality videos that highlight the recovery facilities are also placed online for potential patients to watch. Needle and his team serve clients of various sizes and budgets. Quotes for media campaigns are provided at no charge, and can be localized, regional or national.

Are you cut out to PR your own business asks Best PR Selector?

You don’t need the big personality of Richard Branson or Hilary Devey for your business to make a big splash in the media.

“A larger than life persona is not a good predictor of whether a business owner can successfully do their own PR,” says Phil Turtle, founder of BestPRSelector.com

Instead, the public relations expert has identified three shared characteristics of entrepreneurs who have effectively driven their own publicity machines.

Don’t get too close to your business
“Firstly,” says Turtle, who launched online PR needs assessment tool Best PR Selector in mid-2012, “they have the ability to take a step back from their business and see it from an outsider’s perspective”.

This, he explains, can be harder than it seems. “We’re all familiar with the expressions ‘getting too close to your work’ and ‘can’t see the wood for the trees’”, he explains. “Well both aptly describe the unfortunate position many business owners find themselves in.

“When you’re up close and personal with your business 24/7, it becomes very hard to be objective about it,” he says.

According to Turtle, common traps company owners fall into include using industry jargon, assuming outsiders have lots of prior knowledge, being unrealistic about how important their business is and not being focussed enough on creating and marketing tangible differences with competitor companies.

“It’s no surprise that the business owner who will be the most successful at getting publicity is the one who can see their company through fresh and objective eyes each day,” says Turtle. “This is quite a rare skill.”

Time management
The second most important skill that enables business owners to do their own PR is time management, says Turtle.

Public relations is both time consuming and time sensitive. To ensure you don’t miss killer opportunities to get yourself in front of the right media, you have to strike whilst the iron is hot,” he says.

“If this means shelving everything else in your diary for that morning to concentrate on a PR opportunity, good owner/PRs have the ability to put everything else on hold – or delegate it – and prioritise that golden opportunity.”

Avid media consumers
The final predictor of an entrepreneur who will make an excellent home-grown PR is that they will be an avid – and analytical – consumer of their target media.

“People who do their own PR well understand what makes a great story in their industry. They are not just regular readers of the key industry media but they are also critical readers,” says Turtle.

“They can spot other PR stories and they have ideas about how to create their own.”

Phil adds that good self-publicists understand what makes a news story, a feature, a comment piece, a photo story, a great reader offer.

“Without this appreciation, you’re feeling around in the dark and wasting a journalist’s time,” he says.

“A good PR – whether a professional or small-business person – will know the media they are trying to get coverage in like the back of their hand. Read it, break it down and understand the editor’s requirements. A big personality is no excuse for not having done your background research,” he concludes.

According To A Survey Of Britain’s 100 Leading Press And Public Relations Agencies, The Number Of PR Firms Offering Online PR And Social Media Services Has Undergone A Sharp Rise Over The Last Year

Bigmouthmedia’s 2009 online PR survey has revealed that despite a marked rise in interest, the majority of the UK’s leading public relations firms are still failing to get to grips with the world of online media.

According to the latest updated survey of Britain’s 100 leading press and public relations agencies, the number of PR firms offering online PR and social media services has undergone a sharp rise over the last year, with 40% now claiming to provide a range of internet services.

Representing an increase of 90.5% compared with the 2008 survey results, the boost is evidence of the growth of a interest in online PR from traditional agencies.

“The PR industry is certainly beginning to come to terms with online PR and social media, no doubt motivated by the proven benefits of digital campaigns, but it is less clear whether the sector fully understands the discipline. It is not simply a case of replicating your offline press releases on the web, but requires specialist expertise and an informed understanding of how people engage with news, brands and products on the web,” said Leanne Rinning, Online PR Manager at bigmouthmedia.

“Online PR has to be viewed as part of your overall online marketing mix. It is most effective and more measurable when dovetailed with your SEO, PPC and display activity.”

The survey also reveals that the number of agencies publishing blogs has doubled in the last year. Despite widespread recognition of the value and importance of blogging as a media tool, however, a surprising 78% are still failing to produce their own.

Some 60% of the agencies surveyed admitted that they have yet to include online PR as part of their service offering. However, only 45% of the operations that claimed to have new media covered actually published their own blogs.

Taken as a whole, only 22% of UK PR consultancies currently use blogs to communicate with clients, colleagues and the wider marketplace.

London outfits appear to have maintained their lead in embracing the expanding field. A clear 48% of the firms surveyed who were from the capital offer online PR, with 30% publishing their own blogs.

Companies from elsewhere in the UK fared much worse in the research, with only 32% offering online PR and just 14% publishing their own blogs.

The European Business Awards Have Unveiled The Companies And Individuals Selected As Finalists To Receive The Prestigious Ruban d’Honneur In 2009

The European Business Awards have unveiled the companies and individuals selected to receive the prestigious Ruban d’Honneur in 2009.

Ninety-nine leading businesspeople and organisations made it onto the winners list, which recognises excellence and innovation in European enterprise.

“This has been an eventful year for the European business community. While some might have focused on pessimistic economic forecasts, our winners have chosen to respond with a blend of inventiveness and industry that has defied the downturn,” said Adrian Tripp, Chief Executive of the European Business Awards.

“Clearly it is not all doom and gloom out there. Despite challenging trading conditions, the European Community is home to a raft of small, medium and large business success stories.”

With a combined turnover of €573billion, the 2009 Ruban d’Honneur winners seem set to buck the economic trend. According to statistics gathered by the European Business Awards, this year’s nominees recorded an average annual profit growth of 56%.

“These awards revolve around business success, entrepreneurialism, innovation and ethics – all concepts we strongly believe in promoting. This year’s entrants have demonstrated to us that the European business scene is still very much alive,” said Isidoro Unda, CEO of leading global credit insurer Atradius.

B.G. Srinivas, Senior Vice President and Member of Executive Council at Infosys, a global leader in the next generation of IT and consulting services, added: “The quality of entries this year despite the economic backdrop, have demonstrated a business environment in Europe that fosters talent management, gritty commercialisation and agility, that have enabled organisations to execute existing projects and in some cases completely re-engineer their business models for success.”

All ninety-nine Ruban d’Honneur recipients must now prepare to appear before a second judging panel of highly regarded academics, heads of state, industrialists, entrepreneurs and media commentators drawn from across the 27 member European States. The interviews will take place over two weeks between January and February 2009 at Atradius’ offices in Rome and the overall winners in each of ten categories will be announced at the Awards ceremony in Rome on 7th April 2009, in front of Europe’s top business leaders, politicians and media.

“The standard of entries is very high this year proving that European business is still very active and prospering. There are some remarkable companies in the running and choosing the overall winners from the final shortlist of ninety-nine is going to be an extremely difficult task for the judging panels,” said Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM International, one of the worlds largest auditing and consulting networks.

David Hardy, International Sales and Marketing Director at bigmouthmedia, Europe’s largest independent digital marketing agency, added: “This promises to be an exciting year for many companies. The new winners’ list is packed with success stories from organisations of all sizes, and it is clear that European business still has a lot to shout out about.”

Full European Business Awards Winners List available from the European Business Awards website.
